On December 7th 2019 Weir Archer Academy held their annual Xmas party & awards evening . Along with the athletes & coaches we were joined by friends , family , supporters , sponsors and our cyclist support team. A superb evening with over 100 in attendance enjoying some food , fun and a time for all to reflect on 2019 and recognize some key performances through the season.
We had our special guests from Tarmac join us and say a few words about the exciting thoughts and plans they have to support us during 2020 and beyond, and we look forward to welcoming them to help us open the new Club indoor training facility on January 14th

Most Improved athlete – Millie Swinchin Rew.
Special Recognition Award – Eden Rainbow Cooper and Matt Cooper for representing Team GB at Junior Worlds.
James Freeman Development Award Into the GB Futures Programme and broke the 20secs barrier in the 100m.
Squad of the year – The Cubs
WAA Citizen Award – Hilmy Shawwal who helped provide 45 wheelchairs to a Tanzania charity.
Outstanding Performance Award – Dillio Labroory 800m Muller Anniversary Games.
Coaches Award – Morgan Woods relentless drive for PB’s all season
Special Recognition Award – Natasha, Fabs and Olivia Muller Anniversary Games 100m.
Power of 10 “Climb” Award – Jamie Edwards who returns to the UK rankings in T34 category.
Lifetime Achievement Award – David Weir CBE 20 competitive marathons landmark.
Club Recognition Award – Jenny Archer MBE first female coach into Hall of Fame.
